William Bayley letter to mother, Jean Bayley, from Continental Army

William Bayley, a Continental Army soldier in General Wayne's Light Infantry, wrote to his mother expressing regret that he could not support her because his wages were so low. His mother, Jean Bayley of Falmouth, was a widow.
