Mary Calderwood pension certificate, Augusta, 1871

Description
Mary A. Calderwood of Vinalhaven received a pension certificate in July 1871 that awarded her $2 per month. The widow of Eben S. Calderwood of Co. H, 21st Maine Regiment, Mary Calderwood had previously been awarded $4 a month.
Eben Calderwood died in 1863 while serving in Louisiana.
