Description
Monson Narrow Gauge steam engine No. 3 at the Monson Jct. station in Abbot. The primary purpose of the Monson Narrow Gauge was to haul slate from the quarry to Monson Jct. but it also carried passengers, mail and freight over the years of operation. The train would back the whole return trip to Monson from the Jct. station
