Description
This blueprint of the the Maine Coated Paper Company mill was created by architect Fred Riley in 1903. Early in 1913 Mill president Hugh J. Chisholm organized the Maine Coated Paper Company located in Rumford. Later it became a division of the Oxford Paper Company in the same location. Up to this point the Oxford Paper Company produced fine quality book and specialty paper. Later the Maine Coated Paper company produced coated paper like Mainefold Enamel, Maineflex Enamel, and Polar Superfine Enamel.
