Description
The Maurice Tasker store was situated at the southeast corner of Main Street, also known as route 222, and the Etna Road, route 143, in the center of Stetson, and was one of three stores in town. At the time of this photograph, the Post Office was located in Tasker's store. W.A. Lawrence and the Annett family later owned the store. The store closed in the 1990s and the building burned in 1998.
Note the gas pump on the right side of the porch and the hitching posts in front of the Friend Store at the far right background.
