Information on the back of this photograph states these slate quarry employees in Monson men are, from left, Oscar Suomi, Elam Suomi, Toivo (last name is Ni....unreadable), unidentified, Leon Anderson and John Mackie.
The men are standing on several slabs of slate that are waiting to be processed into headstones, electrical circuit boards, sinks, telephone boards, and various other items.
