Description
A display of typical Aroostook County potato harvesting equipment and picking crew at about 1910. On the right is a horse-drawn one row Hoover Paddle Digger with paddles on its wheels. The turning of the wheels on the digger powers the digging mechanism. On the left is a horse drawn wagon. Also seen are potato barrels and potato baskets.
