Description
View of Ashland's Main Street, looking south, around 1895. On the right side of the street is the Ashland House hotel and the old bank building. The first telephone switchboard in Ashland was located in the bank building, next to Dr. Mancer's dental office and Whit Hallet's grocery store. On the left side of Main Street is Loane's Opera House and store.
