Description
Left to right, Sumner Tucker Pike (1891-1976), Hanna Fanning, and the bride and groom, Laura Sleight and Moses Bernard Pike (1897-1989), August 16, 1930. Hanna and Laura were close friends. Sumner was a businessman and, later, a member of the Security and Exhange Commission and then the Atomic Energy Commission, appointed by President Franklin Roosevelt. Moses was a Lubec and Eastport businessman, prominent in the fish processing industry.
