Description

A postcard with a color lithograph of Front Street published by Tichnor Quality Views. This scene shows the southern edge of Bath's downtown with the First National Bank Building, the Church Block, the Lincoln Block, and the Sagadahock Block on the left, the west side of Front Street, and the Bank Block on the east. Hallett's Clock can be seen in the background of Front Street with its crisscross trolley lines. The Church Block, like much of the street, retains much of its mid-nineteenth century appearance, although a two-story wooden bay window has been added to this brick building in the early twentieth century.
