Description
Ella Webster of New Gloucester wrote to the Poland Spring resort, apparently inquiring about employment at the Mansion House, one of the inns at the resort.
The postcard message reads, "New Gloucester Me 4/25,/1884 I did not quite understand whether you intend for my friend and myself both to have a chance at the Mansion House. if so we will both come when you want us if only myself you refered to please let me know. Ella Webster Upper Gloucester Me."
