This is the logo for the New Sweden Athletic Club. It was worn on all cross country ski uniforms and hats. The New Sweden Athletic Club sponsored the winter carnivals, cross country ski racing, ski jumping, hockey, basketball, and gymnastic teams. Many of their members were participants in and winners of the various marathons held during the 1930s. World War II brought an end to the club as many of the young men left for the war.
