Description
Harry M. Jones was the first aerial policeman in New England. He operated an airport and flying service at Old Orchard Beach from 1919 to 1933.
The board of trade in Old Orchard named him the first aerial policeman and provided him with a uniform, a badge painted on his plane, and a lifebuoy on the fuselage.
