Description
Stephen Emery of Paris wrote to Josiah Pierce of Gorham (1792-1866), thanking him for his friendship and praising Pierce, president of the Maine Senate, for his integrity.
Pierce was the son of Josiah and Phebe Pierce, among the earliest settlers of Baldwin.
