Description
John Brooks "Jack" Howard (1875–1971) paddled a canoe near a wooded shoreline in Maine in 1906, with a slain deer lying in front of him in the canoe. He stored the original celluloid negative in a paper sleeve alongside others labeled "Maine Trip 1906."
