Description
On President Carter's last day in office, January 20, 1980, he meets with Secretary of State Muskie, Defense Secretary Harold Brown and national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski as they receive confirmation that the airplane carrying American embassy personnel held hostage in Iran has departed that country.
