Description
This portrait photograph is part of the Maine State Legislature scrapbook, 1880.
Benjamin Harrison (1833-1901) served in the U.S. Senate from Indiana before being nominated for President in 1888.
A Republican, he lost the popular vote, but won in the Electoral College and served as the twenty-third president from 1889-1893.
