Description

The Tuscan Opera House was built as a lodge for the International Order Of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and the Rebekahs around 1895. This small commemorative dish was sold in local stores to commemorate its completion. In addition to the lodge located on the third floor, the Tuscan Opera House was used as a community building and hosted numerous events for Dixfield and surrounding towns for over eighty years.
