This photograph of Bill Cohen was taken when he was approximately 3 years old in front of businesses along the street where he was born, Hancock Street, in Bangor. A sign for New York Meat Market appears in the background. William S. Cohen went on to serve as a United States Congressman (1973-1978), Senator (1979-1996), and Secretary of Defense (1997-2001).
