Friendship women on their way to meet "Mineola." ca. 1910

Contributed by Friendship Museum

This panorama shows women from Friendship walking from town to meet the steamboat Mineola, which has landed at the Jameson & Wotton Wharf.

A large crowd has already gathered on the wharf, and the horse and buggy to the left of them has already picked up some passengers.

The passengers may include Friendship residents returning home or visitors to acquaintances or one of the several summer inns along the shore.
