Description

This small East Dixfield souvenir photograph shows the home of Dr. Silas Powers Bartlett and later his son Dr. Zenas Bartlett. The home then came into the hands of the Milford Smith family. It is located on the Wilton side of Main Street. The beautiful meandering brook seen in this photograph was diverted and no longer exists as a result of the State of Maine's modernization of US Route 2 in East Dixfield Village in 1972.
