Description

Built in 1868, the St. Luke's Cathedral is located on 143 State Street in Portland. The architecture of this cathedral relates more to the earlier country Gothic style than to the urban cathedral style. It was constructed with tan stone.

A Skinner double-organ instrument was installed in 1928. In 1985 a fire destroyed the Cathedral's interior, but renovation efforts were completed in 1990.
