Maine General Hospital School of Nursing graduates, Portland, 1954

Description

Members of the 71st graduating class of the Maine General Hospital School of Nursing. Commencement was held on February 11, 1954 at Frye Hall. This was the last class to wear the MGH caps. Subsequent classes wore the tri-cornered Maine Medical Center caps. Five members of this class remained as staff nurses at the hospital.
