Description
Pictured here is Aurelio Garcia, a Spanish Ski team member, who had stopped at Judson's Sugarloaf Motel and was talking to Edna Judson, the owner. Judson was explaining to him that he has the wrong hotel and that he was staying at Roger's Motel in Stratton, which is 12 miles up the road.
Since Sugarloaf did not have the large on mountain village with lots of condos then, as it does today, racers and others were housed at various motels and hotels from Farmington to Rangeley.
