Description

The Painchaud Band was made up of many local musicians in Biddeford. They often competed against other bands at concerts throughout New England and Canada, winning many trophies and ribibons.

Pierre Painchaud started the band in 1870. After Painchaud died in 1909, Joseph Martin took over as the Band Director.
