"The Connector," featuring an illustration of a man wearing a patch that features "Willie Wiredhand," was the newsletter for the Eastern Maine Electric Cooperative.
The cooperative was established in 1940 as Denny’s River Electric Cooperative and was one of several cooperatives in Maine established with the help of loans from the Rural Electrification Administration.
