Description

Captain Silvanus Bachelder orders Rufus Sanborn to notify non-commission officers and soldiers to report for military duty on 2 October 1815 and for review inspection on 10 October 1815.

The War of 1812 effectively ended when the Treaty of Ghent was signed on 24 December 1814. The Treaty of Ghent was ratified in February of 1815 and the war was officially declared over.
