Description

The "Medomsley" was a British cargo steamship. It sailed under several different names after its launch in June 1924. In November 1940, as the steamship "Creemuir," it was sunk by aircraft while in a convoy off the coast of Scotland.

The "Portland Evening Express" often ran shipping news articles that detailed the status of ships while in the harbor.
