Description

This is a page from a Methodist hymnal used by Phebe Ann Lord of the Morgan Bay Road section of Surry.

She attended the Methodist E Church on the Cross Road across from the cemetery. On page 120 of the hymnal Phebe scrawled lightly in pencil: "The two prettiest girls in Surry-Phebe and Ellen". Beneath this text written in a different hand is: "They are not so".
