Description

View of the Surry village looking east towards Ellsworth. The dirt road on the right hand side of the photograph is the Blue Hill Road. The Morgan Bay Road is the first right off of the Blue Hill Road. On the Morgan Bay Road note the small white home which still exists today. On the left hand side of the postcard is the Surry Village School located on the Toddy Pond Road. The school was built in 1872 and closed in 1952 and is currently being used a community center for selling used items.
