Description
Election officials pose for a group photograph before town meeting in front of the Surry Town Hall. The town hall was built in 1828 and was of Greek Revival style architecture. In the early days this building was the hub of local government; functioned as Surry's city hall and as a religious structure. The Surry Town Hall was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 16, 2008 and currently functions as a museum.
