Description

The photo shows the owners and employees of N.T. Fox Lumber Co. in Lovell.

Nelson and Charles Fox started the Fox Brothers Co. at the Fryeburg Train Station selling lumber, grain and harness. They also operated the stage from Lovell and Conway, N.H., and ran the sawmill in Lovell Village.

Sometime after 1883 Eben Fox had started the family's sawmill business in Lovell, operating a sawmill, gristmill and spool mill from water power on the Kezar River at Lovell village.
