Description

Lt. Col. William S. Mudgett, a native of Stockton who served with the 80th United States Colored Troops, detailed two privates, George Bailer and Calvin Spears, to the quartermaster's department under Lt. Charles Bridges, a Castine native who was the regimental quartermaster.
