Description
The caption reads, "General Hospital, Augusta, Maine." The hospital was located at the intersection of Chestnut and Arsenal streets. Prior to becoming a hospital, St. Catherine's Hall, a young women's finishing school, was located here.
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
