Description
This is a picture of the J. A. Bragdon grocery store and post office. Over the years the store changed ownership many times. In 1919 Dan McKay was the proprietor. Sue Keating of Sweet Pea Gardens at "The Flower & Garden Shop" is the current owner and the shop is located at 1276 Surry Road. The postcard was written by an unknown author and addressed to a Mrs. Forester Worcester of Southwest Harbor and includes a cancelled 1 cent stamp.
