Description

The Biddeford Box Company was located next to the Saco River at upper Main Street in Biddeford. The company started business in early 1900 making all types of boxes in different sizes. Their lumber was floated down the Saco River to the company, where the lumber was cut, sawed, and trimmed by huge saws The company had about 65 employees. The Box Co. closed in the mid 1970s and moved the rest of its production to New Hamphire.

The flag pole seen on top of the building was donated to Raymond Gaudette Sr. the flag pole flies a flag almost year round at his home.
