Gulliver’s Hole, West Quoddy Head, Lubec, ca. 1910 This foaming sea pocket is visible from the coastal trail in West Quoddy State Park. The ship Whitebelle, a four-masted schooner built in Canada, foundered at Gulliver’s Hole on May 22, 1931.
