Description

Buxton's centennial celebration took place on August 14, 1872. Cyrus Woodman and Joshua Chamberlain were two of the many dignitaries who spoke here.

This image is a view of the Coliseum, which measured 100 feet wide and 220 feet long.

On the reverse of this card is written, "The house seen under the arch was built by Capt. James Woodman, and there he resided until his death."
