Description

An unidentified artist painted the bark Edmund Phinney, which was built by George Russell in Portland in 1873-1874.

The Russell Shipbuilding Company employed four Russell brothers; Eben, joiner; Sewall, planker; William, fastener; and Jonas, ceilings.
