The assembled crowd observes the dedication of the Franklin Roosevelt Memorial Brridge connecting Lubec, Maine and Campobello Island, New Brunswick. Note the speakers erected on poles at the front of the platform, and the strong northerly wind blowing both U.S. and Canadian flags.
