Jacob Clark Pike family, Lubec, 1917, 1917

Description

Jacob C. Pike, a son of Jabez Pike, early went to sea. Returning home, he married at age 36 and like his brother Bion became a major figure in the Lubec sardine industry. He also served terms in the Maine legislature, and as Passamaquody District Collectror of Customs from 1907 to 1913.
