Bill for treating injured British sailors, Portland, 1813

John Storer submitted a bill to Thomas G. Thornton, Marshal of Maine, for costs in treating British sailors from the Boxer, who were injured in the battle in which the American brig Enterprise defeated the British ship off the coast of Maine.

Both captains were killed in the battle.
