Description
The dramatic image dated August 25, 1961, crudely patched together from three Polaroid photographs, shows construction of the bridge from Lubec to Campobello Island with trestlework in place and piers nearing completion. Shot from the Lubec shore looking out to sea. Campobello extends across most of the horizon. Signed on the rear of the card mount, presumably in his own hand, is the name of the photographer, Ronald MacDonald with his Lubec mailing address.
