Angeline S. Curtis and William J. Curtis, in the center, and their descendants pose for a picture, probably at the Curtis home in New Jersey.

William J. Curtis was a native of Brunswick, a graduate of Bowdoin College and a lawyer practicing in New York. His wife, Angeline, was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Massachusetts and Maine after the death of her parents.

In the photo, from left, are Edwy L. Taylor holding onto William Curtis Taylor, his wife, Helen V. Curtis Taylor with their son, John; Henry Hill Pierce, a native of Portland, with his sons William C. and Benjamin T. Pierce. To the right is his wife, Katharine Curtis Pierce and their son Henry H. Pierce Jr. Next are Lena R. Curtis and her parents.

William J. Curtis Jr. is holding William J. Curtis III and standing to the right is Caroline Porter Curtis.

At the far right are Mildred C. Hughson and Walter Hughson holding Letitia A. Hughson.
