Description
Lorenzo H. Wilson purchased the mill on Skillin Road in Cumberland around 1875 and operated it as a saw, stave, and grist mill. The mill is on the site of an old saw mill which was owned and operated by many of the farmers in the area, each running the mill a certain length of time each season, or until they had cut enough lumber for their use. The mill was in operation until the mid-1950s, and is now a private residence.
