Description

This 1979 view of the Sawyer house located at 512 Memorial Highway in North Yarmouth, was taken prior to the house's destruction in 1979. The house was originally a large extended farmhouse built prior to 1861. After its demolition in 1979, the Gillespie Farm Market was built on the property; that structure still stands, now occupied by a different business. The Old Town House property was originally part of the Sawyer family's holdings.
