Taken around 1890 at the Phillips home at Seaville on Long Island in Blue Hill Bay.

Last row sitting: Will Phillips (legs crossed standing, Elizabeth, Elsie, and Mrs. Phillips, Alex Phillips (on one knee), Mrs. Leith, Willie, Stanley, and Lizzie Leith, Lizzie Grindle (after Mrs. Alex Davidson) Elsie, Beatrice, and Mary Leith.

The Leiths ran the boarding house on Long Island which housed most of the mine workers. They charged $2.50 a week for a room including meals.
