Description
Joseph Jovite "J. J." Salvas of Biddeford, around 1920. This portrait photograph of J. J. Salvas, was used for various publications. J. J. Salvas was a producer, director, and actor; he ran one of the most famous and popular theater troupes from this area. They put on plays, in French, from around 1915 through the 1940s.
