Description

A view of Water Street in Lubec. The sidewalk mailbox stands in front of the post office. Just beyond is the corner with School Street, the building across School Street housing the Rexall drugstore identified by the oval sign projecting above the sidewalk. On the opposite side of Water Street, the building partially obscured by the nearest utility pole is Stuart’s hardware, lumber, and colliery (the side portion of Annabell’s Pub as of 2010). The next building closer is Herb May’s blacksmith shop.
