Four men watch as four others lower Alfred Brady's casket into the ground at Mount Hope Cemetery, Public Grounds, in Bangor.

Stanley Howatt, assistant Mount Hope superintendent; Harold S. Burrill Sr., Mount Hope superintendent.

Brady was the leader of the infamous Brady Gang, which was wanted for multiple robberies and murders. He was shot and killed by FBI agents on Central Street in Bangor on October 12, 1937 when he and his fellow gang members returned to Dakin Sporting Goods store to attempt to purchase a machine gun.
